Not only the Italian press was present at Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s press conference. There is also a Swedish share, represented by my colleague Nicole Amiri. Collaborator of newspapers such as Aftonbladet, the TV4 channel and the national radio SR, she gave us her point of view from Scandinavia on the new role of Ibra himself and on the Milan to come:
Do you think he can be a successful executive?
“Absolutely yes. I don’t expect anything else from Zlatan, because he is a champion, as well as the greatest Swedish character that exists. I’m from Malmo like him, I know how difficult it is to grow up in this city, even more so in certain areas. And despite this, look at what he has achieved. So I expect great things from him as a manager. Zlatan himself said that he is learning every day and that he is still learning, so much so that he is getting gray hairs. He may be wrong a little but I believe that is destined to do very well.”
Don’t you think that his exuberance, his ego could clash with what a manager’s job is?
“I don’t think there will be any problems, because Zlatan is very intelligent. He understands that he has to learn, he is not alone and he will be helped. He knows well that he won’t be able to decide everything on his own and I have no doubt that he will be able to coexist with the other figures.”
