Unreachable Sinner: not even technology can do it

Sinner, the news was not received with the enthusiasm that perhaps would have been expected from the fans: it immediately became controversial.

A few weeks ago, some news had sent fans into a rage. When Take-Two Interactive announced the launch of Top Spin 2k25 and the trailer of the highly anticipated videogame was released, a discordant note immediately caught the eye (the ear, sorry, since we’re talking about notes) of tennis enthusiasts.

In the clip it was possible to admire the faithful reproductions of Roger Federer, Iga Swiatek, Serena Williams and Carlos Alcaraz, but one couldn’t help but notice that the champion of the moment was missing: Jannik Sinner. The blue was not yet on the top of the world when the pre-order of the new sports video game started, but this does not change the fact that his absence had already annoyed a good portion of fans potentially interested in purchasing the title.

“And Sinner?” many had asked, commenting on the trailer shared on social media and lamenting the fact that a legend of his caliber couldn’t be missing from a game dedicated to tennis. Well, the request of the social media population has evidently reached where it needed to arrive, so much so that Take-Two Interactive has corrected the aim and introduced the character into the roster of tennis players to play with. It’s just a shame that perhaps, in hindsight, it would have been better not to do it.

If the fans don’t like the virtual Sinner

When, in the last few hours, the first images of Sinner’s character in Top Spin 2k25 appeared on Instagram and The fans are now even more furious than they were before.

And if not even technology has been able to reproduce it, it means that it is true, then, that Sinner it is unattainable in every way.
