Marc Marquez’s promotion to the factory Ducati team pushes Gresini to look for a new rider for the next MotoGP season. If Pramac were to conclude the agreement with Yamaha, there would be the possibility for Nadia Gresini’s team to have an official bike (the other Desmosedici GP25 would end up in the VR46 garage). Alex Marquez has a contract expiring at the end of the year, but everything suggests that he will continue with the Emilian team.
Gresini looking for an ace

The MotoGP rider market proves to be particularly enigmatic for Franco Morbidelli too. If Pramac links up with Yamaha it seems difficult to imagine its return to the M1. At this point he could find a place in the VR46 garage, if one of Bezzecchi or Di Giannantonio were to veer towards the official Aprilia. Otherwise, the Gresini team could prove to be an excellent option for the Italian-Brazilian rider, still looking for the best feeling with the Ducati GP25.
Alex Rins, an old favorite of Gigi Dall’Igna, would also be on the satellite team’s notebook. The Spaniard became the first Honda rider, apart from Marc Marquez, to win a Grand Prix since 2018. Gresini intends to continue his assault on the podium, after having achieved victories with Bastianini and Di Giannantonio and recent podiums for Marquez. With five victories in the MotoGP championship, Rins could be the right choice for Nadia Padovani’s garage.
Aldeguer already signed
The last name that is currently most ‘popable’ is that of Fermin Aldeguer. Ducati granted him a two-year MotoGP contract, but without assigning him to a specific team. Doubts about the future of Pramac Racing mean that the Moto2 talent could also find itself in Gresini. It could be the perfect environment to make the leap in class, alongside compatriot Alex Marquez who has already accumulated some experience with the red team. Beyond the aforementioned names… surprise names shouldn’t be ruled out!
