FIRST XV: special mention for Borsi, Gennari and Calvi

There are just a few days left until the start of the 2024/25 sports season, starting on Monday 1 July. In the meantime, we want to thank all the staff and above all all the athletes of the 1 Each of them deserves to be mentioned, but since it is impossible to do so for everyone, we remember those who particularly stood out during the 2023/24 season.

As a true captain, CLAUDIO BORSI he was the player with the most playing time: 1717 minutes out of 1760 total, playing all 22 matches of the season as a starter. Elbano, born in 1992, joined Rugby Parma in July 2020 where, following the post-Covid resumption of the championships, he led the 1st XV to promotion to Serie A. The no. 8 also boasts another record: that of a metaman with 11 goals bearing his signature.

From the golden foot of MARCO ANTONIO “SPENNA” GENNARI they even scored 156 points, the result of 27 conversions and 34 free kicks; another 10 points from 2 tries scored by the fullback and utility back from Noce, born in 1992, who arrived at Rugby Parma in July 2021. An average of almost 11 points in each of the 16 matches played as a starter this last season.

Gialloblù always, ENRICO CALVI he was the youngest ever among the players called up during the season with the first team (18 years old next December). The 3 tries scored by the center back in 160 minutes as a starter earned him the nomination of man of the match in the first of the two matches played.
