European Championships, Italy triumphs in the men’s 4×100 relay with Jacobs

L’Marcell Jacobs’ Italy is queen of Europe. The Olympic and European 100 meter champion is engine of 4×100 light blue who won the last race of the continental event in Rome by a landslide, bringing the eleventh gold medal to the Azzurri, first in the medal table with 9 silvers and 4 bronzes (24 metals in total).

There the blue relay with Melluzzo, Jacobs, Patta and Tortu literally dominates the men’s 4×100winning with the excellent time of 37”82 (new European seasonal limit), leaving large gaps behind Holland and Germany.
