BCC contract at a standstill: negotiations postponed to July 8

During the night between 28th and 29th June, after two intense days of confrontation, postpones the negotiation on the renewal of the National Collective Labor Agreement of Cooperative Credit to 8 Julywhich began last March 21, between the National Secretariats of the Trade Union Organizations in the sector and the Federcasse Delegation.

Decision made following the distances, still too large and unacceptable, on the match economics of the arrears and of the various tranches of disbursement of the tabular adjustments.

This last week had produced significant agreements on other important issues such as:

  • The reduction of weekly working hours by half an hour, for equal pay, starting from 1 July 2025.
  • The identification of a new “cash-less” allowance of 90.00 euros.
  • The forecast of an employer contribution to the Solidarity Time Bank of 30% of the amount voluntarily paid by the workers.
  • The allocation, for two years, of the contribution dedicated to the Income Support Fund, to the Employment Fund, Cooperative Credit, to the National Mutual Fund and to premature death.
  • Identifying permits dedicated to the topic of gender-based harassment and violence.

However, the economic requests already present on the platform and approved with a very broad mandate by the Male and Female Workers which had also been known for some time, as repeatedly recalled and requested during all the previous meetings, should have been aligned with those obtained by the Male and Female Workers of ordinary credit.

The new date scheduled for July 8 will “hopefully” allow Federcasse to review the political mandate with the declared and essential objective of reaching a comprehensive agreement, including the economic part.

We absolutely believe that, with the sense of responsibility that has always distinguished this negotiating table, we can reach an agreement that satisfies the prerogatives and expectations of a category that has always distinguished itself for its sense of belonging, then translated into very positive productive results that are equally tangible and concrete.

Human value has always represented one of the founding principles of Cooperative Credit, values that will surely be at the centre of the Federcasse Annual Assembly scheduled for next July 18th.

We will not fail to make the voices of all workers heard.
