A special birthday
In an already legendary 2024 season for MotoGP, divided between spectacular battles on the track and equally incredible market scenarios for the future that have now emerged, there are also the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the MotoGP.
The big party organized by MotoGP is scheduled for Silverstone weekend of 2-3-4 August and – as in any self-respecting party – there will be a very particular ‘dress code’.
The colors of history
Yes because, as revealed in an official note released by the premier class, all teams will use a special vintage livery for that race. “Inspired by any chapter of their history, the 11 teams on the grid – including the five factory teams – will each race with their own special livery, with a ‘vintage’ color scheme“.
The liveries will be revealed one after the other live in a special event scheduled in the Silverstone pit lane, in what has already been dubbed the ‘Day of Champions’ on the day of Thursday, at the beginning of the weekend. It will be the first time ever that all teams will use a special livery in a single race weekend. A nice way to pay homage to the history of the MotoGP.
