400 HURDLES (WOMEN) – Alice Muraro achieves the minimum for the Olympics of Paris 2024, running a personal best of 54.73 and finishing in third place in the third semi-final behind the Norwegian Line Kloster (54.56) and the Dutch Cathelijn Peeters (54.66). Ayomide Folorunso she clearly hits the last barrier, slows down, is overtaken by the British Lina Nielsen (52.43) and finishes in third place with a time of 54.52 in the first semi-final won by Louise Maraval (54.36). POLE Vault (MEN) – The Swede Armand Duplantis clocks in. The Olympic champion and world record holder cleared 5.60 meters on his first attempt and closed the practice. Both the Italians competing were eliminated. Italian eliminated: Elena Bellò seventh in the third heat (2:02.75), Eloisa Coiro fourth in the second heat (2:02.86), the top three in each series and the four best repechage times advanced.
200 METERS (WOMEN) – The German Talea Prepens signed the best time of the round (22.83) ahead of the French Helene Parisot (22.86), also Irene Siragusa qualified for the semifinals by finishing third in his heat (23.12, 0.1 m/s headwind).
