From the Azzurri’s last test before leaving for Germany, some clear clues ahead of their debut at the European Championship
Qualification almost entirely depends onAlbania. Given that the first two of each group and also the four best third-placed teams advance to the next phase, three points could also be enough and therefore it is clear that the aim of Spalletti and of theItaly must be focused on the match of 15 June and in this sense from the friendly match played and won against Bosnia on the eve of the departure for Germany, clear indications emerge on what the coach asks of his players and also on what the lineup could be for the debut match and Euro 2024when the legs will be less burdened by workloads and will certainly turn better.

Italy, Spalletti: “We did what we had to do. Good performance from Scamacca”
No doubt, there will be a captain between the posts Donnarumma, decisive on two occasions also against coach Barbarez’s revamped national team. Scamacca missed a couple of goals which when it counts cannot be missed, but together with his friend Frattesi and Buongiorno he is among the most positive notes for Spalletti, who with the substitutions of the second half also gave the joy of his debut in blue to Folorunsho and has demonstrated that it has many solutions available. The training for Albania, however, seems almost done.
