A very intense weekend for the IronBiella athletes. Two days of triathlon in the beautiful setting of the Idroscalo of Milan.
On Saturday 1 June on the starting line our Fabrizio Forzan challenged himself with the Olympic distance of 1500 m swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running. On Sunday 2 June 20 of our athletes competed in the super Sprint and Sprint distance. The distance Sprint 750 m swimming 20 km cycling 5 km running may seem like a “short” race, however it is a very adrenaline-filled race to always be done at the best of your strength. Taking advantage of the Deejaytri we also held our social competition, highlighting Andrea Spezzano’s first place. As regards the Sprint category results, the following podiums were awarded: Andrea Valdani 3rd in the S4 Category, Matteo Prina Mello 2nd in the M2 Category, Angela Fogarolli 3rd in the M2 Category, Silvia Solei 2nd in the M4 Category and Dario of Benedetto 3rd of Category M6.

Note of thanks to three of our athletes who completed the legendary IRONMAN Triathlon race. The most extreme distance 3.9 m of swimming in the Hamburg river, 180 km by bike and to finish simply a marathon through the streets of the center… Really well done to Laura Ravera, Stefano Pozzo and Enrica Soligo
