“I’m happy with the work we did this weekend too. Since the beginning of the year I have had problems with my forearms again and today was very tough, so next Tuesday I will have to undergo surgery again. Today, especially in the last seven laps, it was really difficult to maintain control of the bike with this problem. I tried to finish the race as best as possible, but it was very complicated and I’m happy that we will have a solution to this problem. For the future I’m sure that everything will be fine and I hope that we can improve after the surgery, because today I had to save a lot of energy for the last part of the race and I was thinking too much about my right arm. However, I am happy with this seventh round: my team believes in me and I believe in them. Day after day we are getting closer to the official Aprilias and even with my arm problems we were close to Aleix and Maverick.”
