The Petrarch Rugby it’s the team Italian Champion 2024. They beat Rugby Viadana 28-10 in the final number 93 to win their 15th championship, overcoming their eternal rivals from Rovigo and reaching Benetton Treviso.
The first half of the Lanfranchi di Parma, sold out today with 4,400 spectators reported, it’s balanced and fun. Roger unblocks the scoreboard by hitting the posts, Lyle responds but the first heavy marking corresponds to Angelo Esposito’s try following a valuable play from the three-quarters, a few minutes pass and it is once again Trotta who concludes an action in superiority wide in the goal, one-two Petrarca’s deadly, 3-17. In the second half Petrarca takes control of the game, giving little to a generous but not very cynical Viadana. Lyle extends with two placed thanks to some lightness in Viadana’s defense and thanks to a dominant scrum. In the 80th minute comes the goal that ends the hostilities on a follow-up kick from Fernandez favored by a good advance from Scagnolari. It ends 10-28 for Petrarca.
