At stake is a final year of a contract worth more than 7 million net of the four-year contract signed between Juventus and the coach in the summer of 2021. Also in the background is Juventus’ plan to present a request for reputational damage against Allegri, which according to what emerges in turn the coach could direct against Juventus, once it has been ascertained that the reasons that led to the dismissal for just cause were unfounded. It is probable that before arriving in court the path of a settlement will be attempted, which could allow the club to save something on the entire year and the coach – especially if the opportunity to return to the bench arises – the possibility of avoiding a legal aftermath, but giving up part of what is due to him.
