Here is how the Serie A championship standings change after Sunday’s matches in which the 38th and final round is played

Torino fell 3-0 on Atalanta and ended the championship with a completely disappointing performance. The Granata therefore finish the 2023/24 championship with 53 points, exactly like last season, and are joined by Napoli, who drew 0-0 at home with Lecce. The final ranking reads the Granata in ninth place and the Neapolitans tenth due to the direct clashes that favor Juric’s team. Now the hopes of obtaining a place in the Conference League remain alive, everything depends on Fiorentina who will play the final against Olympiakos on Wednesday in Athens. If the Viola won the cup, Torino would qualify for the Conference League preliminaries. Lazio drew against Sassuolo this evening, securing their seventh place, which was of interest to the Granata from a European perspective. In fact, if Viola had finished seventh, the Piedmontese would have had to abandon their European dreams. Atalanta, on the other hand, with these three points rises in the standings to 69 points which is worth fourth place against Bologna who drops to fifth position. The race for salvation also ends: Frosinone, Sassuolo and Salernitana go to Serie B. Udinese, Cagliari, Empoli, Lecce and Verona are saved.
