Scandal in Brazil. A man was arrested on charges of photographing and filming the private parts of volleyball players during the women’s League of Nations matches, which took place at the Maracanãzinho stadium, as well as beach volleyball matches in Recife. The investigations conducted revealed that Carlos Eduardo Freire de Brito Carlos Eduardo Freire de Brito entered sporting events with a semi-professional camera equipped with magnifying lenses, with the aim of filming and photographing private parts of the players. I did it for my lust. At the moment the agents have seized the electronic devices used by Carlos Eduardo. The man confessed to having recorded the images “for his own lust, such as masturbation” and having saved them on his computer and mobile phone.
The man was identified after the surveillance company’s intelligence team: managed to capture the exact moment when the man, in a veiled manner, used the camera to capture the images of the players. After confirming the suspicion, they immediately reported the case to the Civil Police, who quickly identified the person responsible and his whereabouts.
The devices seized
Among the images stored on the devices were videos taken during League of Nations matches, played in Rio de Janeiro, and also beach volleyball matches, played in the natural municipality of Carlos Eduardo, Recife, in the state of Pernambuco. The seized electronic devices were a camera used to capture images of the players, a notebook, a mobile phone and two memory cards, which contained material of an intimate nature. The individual arrested by the police will be responsible for the crimes of sexual importunity and unauthorized recording of sexual intimacy.
