SORESINA – «This year too we will meet to ride together in our countryside, spend a day doing outdoor sports and getting to know the world of Latteria Soresina’s farms.” The announcement comes from via dei Mille and, yes, it confirms the appointment that all nature-loving cyclists have been waiting for: Le Vie del Latte returns next month with an even more exciting second edition.
The program explained with a simple pill: «The routes and lengths will be commensurate with various types of preparation: from the simple tour suitable for families up to a Randonné gravel for the fittest».
There are actually four routes: ‘Families’ and routes of thirty, sixty and one hundred kilometres. It doesn’t matter whether the cyclist is an athlete, a mother, a father or a child, as the starting line will still be cut from eight to nine in the morning in via dello Stadio on 30 June.
«New edition means new paths – announces Latteria Soresina, with its staff already working to organize the international event –. The Milk Routes Gravel will have itineraries suitable for everyone, from a simple tour for families with an educational visit to the stable and a virtual journey through the history of the dairy, up to a route for the fittest who will be able to take advantage of the refreshment point of the Mulino di Basso». The gem: each participant can already choose the path to follow, in the sense of ‘where, how and when’ with a couple of clicks on the Latteria Soresina website.
Sport? Yes, too. Pedaling certainly keeps you fit but the meaning of the event on the saddle is another. The dairy is one of the most important cooperatives in Italy and has a very strict ethical and environmental code: this is a journey of transparency. For children a game, for parents a way to discover where the treasures that end up on the table come from.
