Volleyball Picco Lecco is proud to announce the entry of Giorgia Amoruso into the roster for the next Serie A season. Giorgia, who grew up in the youth ranks of prestigious clubs such as Segratese and Bracco Pro Patria and with important experience at Club Italia, is ready to bring her talent and passion to Lecco.
Born and raised in a family of volleyball players, Giorgia started playing volleyball at the age of 9. After perfecting her skills in the Busnago Volleyball Team for three years, Giorgia spent the last two years at Club Italia, where she acquired important training and personal experience.
“The passion for volleyball was passed on to me by my parents who are former volleyball players,” says Giorgia. “After the great training experience I am having at Club Italia and my personal growth, I think the time has come to play in a Serie A team to put into practice what I have learned and achieved and to continue the growth path.”
Giorgia chose Picco Lecco for its history and the sporting vision that she shares: “Picco Lecco is a historical reality with a vision of volleyball that I agree with, both in the goals to be achieved and in the spirit of the teams participating in the various championships . I welcome the opportunity it offers me to continue my growth path and contribute to their goals.”
