In the letterdated April 15th and signed by the special superintendent Daniela Porroit is announced that the surveys have revealed «a probable ancient artifact with hydraulic function». In detail it is a «plastered tunnel connected to a well“, close to castellum aquae and to Roman cistern already identified in investigations of the 1990s”. The artefact would be placed atexternal of the perimeter of the stadiumbut at theinternal of the largest area identified for its implementation. The experts therefore require further investigation: «We can see the need to carry out a site inspection on site together with the archaeologist appointed by As Roma” and, in the meantime, “the authorities are invited to provide urgency at the securing of the area affected by the evidence in which – as indicated by the report of Pietralata Mountains Popular Committee – in any case, false nets would appear to have been placed by unknown persons to prevent people from falling into them”.
