38 points, 19 victories, 7 defeats, participation in the Final Eight of the Italian Cup and third place in the standings: this is the balance of the 2023/2024 regular season of the ARAN Cucine Panthers Roseto. A championship that will go down in the history of the Rosetan club (in its second participation in Serie A2) if you consider that exactly one year ago we were witnessing a bitter relegation.

Unfortunately, coach Buzzanca’s girls were unable to close the regular season with a victory, with Vicenza deservedly beating PalaMaggetti (59-69). At the same time, there are several positive signs. One of these is certainly Miccio’s return to the parquet, not yet in top condition but with 22 minutes played. Despite the persistent absences (Botteghi, Mattera, Maroglio) the Rosetan Panthers still gave their all on the pitch, with the match being very balanced and enjoyable for three and a half quarters. The best precision of the Venetians in the last five minutes and the fight under the scoreboards were decisive, won by Belosevic and his teammates.

For the Panthers the exciting challenge of the playoffs now begins which will most likely pit them against San Salvatore Selargius, a team they have already faced in the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup.
The dream continues.
