Yesterday was a haunted match for Before Budimir. The former Sampdoria and Crotone striker, author of 16 league goals, missed the penalty in the 97th minute that would have allowed his Osasuna to equalize the match against Valencia. An almost comical mistake, which obviously sparked the irony of social media. At the end of the match, the Pamplona club revealed a background story that in some way rehabilitates the Croatian: he was admitted to the Clinica Navarra due to a serious chest trauma which caused him to break three ribs.

The tests carried out confirmed that the Rossoneri striker suffered a chest trauma with three rib fractures of the right hemithorax. The player was hospitalized at the University of Navarra Clinic for observation of his progress and analgesic treatment until further evaluation in the next few hours.”
