The new board of directors of the historic Guastalla tennis club has been elected. The president is Alberto Cavazzoli, with Luciano Francia vice-president, Sandra Rondelli and Silvia Zigarini councilors. The Guastalla Tennis Club is an association established in 1988. It is registered with the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, with the CONI special register and is affiliated with the AICS. It has its own tennis school created in September 2016, which avails itself of the collaboration of a teacher. There is an active director, Marzio Portioli, who is responsible for the ordinary management of the various activities of the club. The Guastalla Tennis Club is based in via Matilde di Canossa and covers an area of 12,700 m2. It includes two tennis courts, covered in winter with pressostatic balls, a beach volleyball court, a five-a-side football pitch, a small gym, a bowling green and changing rooms. It also has, for the summer season, a bar restaurant with an outdoor summer area.
In 2019, an important modernization was carried out which in particular saw the construction of a 25 m swimming pool with attached hydromassage and related changing rooms.
