«I found a boy who has matured since I left him at the French club. He is finding his best form again. In his last year at Lyon he suffered a lot, probably because he was out of contract and played little. He is really enthusiastic about Roma and De Rossi. «I was very clear with him in complimenting him. He has grown so much mentally. I left him when he was a boy and I found him again as a man, but above all a serious athlete. We don’t need to call him on retreat, tell him when and how to work, the timetables to respect… Certain lessons that I have been pushing hard for some time now he has learned. Now he goes on autopilot and that makes me happy.”
Roma is therefore ready to discover the true Aouar.
«Rebuilding a boy who hasn’t played for almost a year is not easy, I’m convinced that now he will only get better. Roma will see the real Aouar next season, and I am convinced that he will fall in love with it.
