Very often we happen to talk to the runners or their managers and sports directors. Less often does it happen to turn the spotlight on the preparation of yesterday and today. Last Saturday we took advantage of the Mapei Sport Research Center conference to review this important topic together with a man who embodies the past, present and future history of this Italian excellence in science applied to cycling: Andrea Morelli, cycling technician and head of the analysis of the Mapei movement. What has changed most in this decade and what remains unchanged? In what can Italy be lacking compared to Northern Europe? These are just a couple of the questions that our interlocutor answered with a wealth of arguments and passion.
