The Roma CT informs you below about the next two appointments of our CQT.
Phoenix Spring Cup 2024
Saturday March 30th from 9:00 am at the PALAFERRETTI in Via Paolo Monelli, 11 – Rome, the Fenice Spring Cup will take place. The first tournament Under 13 Lazio Men’s Championship, organized by Fenice Roma Pallavolo together with the patronage of Roma Capitale Department of Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion, the Italian Volleyball Federation and the Lazio Regional Committee. The Tournament, reserved for some of the best Under 13 teams in Italy, will follow a format that includes preliminaries in the morning starting from 9:00, then there will be a convivial lunch at the facility, and in the afternoon the finals with the announcement of the winner. Furthermore, in collaboration with Volley Treviso, the winning team will have the right to participate directly in the final stages of the “0.13 city of Treviso Trophy”.
TOURNAMENT FORMULA
U 13 men (2011/12/13)
1st phase: tournament with 6 teams divided into 2 groups of 3 teams, one-way matches
2nd phase: the top 2 in each group will play in the semi-finals and finals
The third-placed teams in each group will play in the fifth and sixth place finals.

Women’s and Men’s CQT Friendlies in Naples
They will take place on Sunday April 7 at the PalaVesuvio – via Argine Nord 927 – Naples.
The words of Paolo PiciacchiaTechnical Director of the Women’s CQT, reflect the importance of these friendlies in the team’s preparation process: “This friendly match will be an opportunity to confirm the stable group that will then go on to play for the provincial trophy. We will have the opportunity to play five sets, thus allowing our coaches to evaluate all the possible combinations and identify the best sextet to obtain optimal performances ”.
Also Massimiliano GiordaniTechnical Director of the Men’s CQT, underlines the importance of these meetings with a view to team growth and cohesion: “The organization of an event like this becomes very important in view of the next territories trophy. In addition to the technical aspect of the match, this occasion will be fundamental to encourage the growth of the group and to evaluate our level of play.”
