At the end of the first race of the 2024 season, something special took place that did not escape the attention of the fans. No one with whom to celebrate the podium achieved at the end of a more than positive race. In fact, the Spaniard started from fourth position and, thanks to two great overtakings on Charles Leclerc and George Russell, managed to close immediately behind the Red Bull duo.

Sainz abandoned? There is an explanation

Actuallyaccording to what was gathered by our correspondent in Bahrain, the Ferrari men were there, they just arrived late. In fact, it seems that they were stuck among the myriad of people present in the pit lane at the end of the race.

Carlos Sainz thus had the opportunity to properly celebrate the first podium of the season together with his mechanics.

No “Sainz case” therefore. Especially on social media, the first criticisms against Ferrari had already arrived, accused of having already abandoned the Spanish driver.

As is now known, Sainz will say goodbye to the Maranello team at the end of the year, which will welcome Lewis Hamilton as Charles Leclerc’s teammate from 2025.
