Wimbledon, what would change for Sinner with Djokovic’s absence
Djokovic has not yet made a final decision on his participation in the Wimbledon tournament, but apart from the conspicuous elastic band used to protect his right knee, no particular movement problems emerged during training. Nothing should therefore prevent the Serbian from playing the third Slam of 2024. Today, starting from 10 am local time (11 am in Italy) the draw will be drawn and the possible presence of Nole could have an important impact on it. Because Djokovic would be the second seed of the tournament, making the defending champion Carlos Alcaraz move up to number 3. The Spaniard, in this situation, could be drawn on the same side as Jannik Sinner (n.1), determining a possible cross between the two in the semifinals, as happened less than a month ago at Roland Garros.
