The measures arrive for the final year students of the Roman Visconti high school who in recent days have developed the list of the girls they conquered, as if they were a trophy to be displayed, posting it on the door of a classroom.
The class council, meeting today, decided to punish them with a six in conduct and a symbolic six-day suspension, switched to an activity with Telefono Rosa, given that the school year is now over.
The activity will actually involve all students and involves training meetings with psychologists and lawyers from the association. “There will be no volunteering courses in any way” is keen to point out the president of Telefono Rosa Gabriella Carnieri Moscatelli who then adds: “We have given maximum availability and our professionals will enter the classroom as early as next week.
We are happy that the institute immediately realized the seriousness of the gesture. This heartens us and gives us hope. We cannot but condemn the behavior, but we are ready to work with the students so that they understand what they have done. They must understand that acts like this fuel the chauvinistic and patriarchal culture that we must defeat.”

The principal: ‘We will take action’ (ANSA)The disciplinary measures against the 6/7 graduates were announced yesterday by the principal of the prestigious classical high school in the capital who had defined the episode as “serious” and for this reason had called a class council for this afternoon. “It is good that measures have been taken – comments Mario Rusconi, president of the National Association of Principals of Rome – even if the 6 in conduct has a minimal influence on the school credit which is calculated on the average of all the subjects. With a 5, at otherwise, they would not have been admitted to high school.”
Also speaking on the matter was the Minister for the Family Eugenia Roccella. “It is a serious fact,” she says, “that you demonstrate how episodes of pathetic chauvinism are still far from being eradicated. And, above all, it reveals the extent of the educational problem we face.” For the minister, “the increasingly evident and widespread educational poverty, even in contexts in which it appears difficult to talk about degradation or social hardship, must first of all consult families. The family is the primary place in which children learn (or do not learn ) relationships between people, rights and duties, respect and freedom”. She then points out:
“The State is there and wants to be there, making tools and services available to families to exercise their role. But no one will ever be able to replace that role, and it is necessary for those who hold it to exercise it again.” Furthermore, the Collettivo Visconti in Rosa also intervened in the matter, criticizing that possible relationships were being alluded to between the writers of the list and the girls on the list and inviting everyone “to respect privacy”.
