Moments of tension between the couple’s relatives while the injured, a 44-year-old of Moroccan origin, was rescued and then transported by helicopter to San Matteo. Only around 10.30 pm did the situation return to normal thanks to the intervention of the police

The argument and then the flight into space. However, the dynamics of a woman’s fall from a balcony of at least four meters in Casalpusterlengo are not yet clear. The mystery in via Matteotti, in a house on the first floor which is part of the Aler buildings, where on Sunday evening around 9.15pm chaos broke out which then reverberated for at least an hour in the gardens that divide the apartments from the public road.

The protagonist, despite herself, is the woman, a 44-year-old Moroccan whose details are not yet known, who ended up on the asphalt below her balcony: whether it was a voluntary act or a case of domestic violence, the police will establish. In fact, in the minutes before, the woman seems to have been heard arguing furiously with her husband, who is not currently under arrest and who will be taken to hospital sometime during the night to treat some abrasions found on her body.

Instead, his wife was transported to San Matteo in Pavia by air ambulance, rescued by staff from the Casalese Cross and by the medical vehicle before being accompanied to the aircraft that landed from the Sondrio heliport: her condition was said to be serious but, at 11pm, the danger of life seemed excluded.

What then happened after the arrival of the help were minutes of madness, with a crowd of at least one hundred people including passers-by, residents and onlookers present between Via Matteotti and the gardens of Palazzo Aler, with some of the relatives of the couple involved in the mysterious affair held in effort by the police who arrived on site with patrols from the station and the mobile radio unit. Only after 10.30pm did the situation begin to calm down, with staff from the scientific unit finding everything useful outside and inside the house to establish what actually happened, with the concierge area isolated by the police.

Also on site was the commander of the Codogno Company Giuseppe Vignola and the chief marshal Massimo Porcino of the Casale station.
