The Italian boss has completely abandoned the tracks that lead to the two most popular technicians, and has put another important profile in his sights.
The question regarding the benches is becoming increasingly difficult in Serie A, where several top-level clubs will most likely change technical leadership in the summer. At the moment, however, the only one sure of a new change at the helm of the team is Napoliwho will say goodbye to the ferryman Francesco Calzona in the summer and will take on a new coach.
Clearly, names of technicians who could set foot in Castelvolturno have been mentioned for some time now, of which there are many, but recently two profiles have seemed to be the hottest. One is Antonio Contefree and eager to get back on track, while the other is Stefano Pioliwho will most likely receive the sack from Milan in June and will be ready to face a new experience.
In the last few hours, however, the prospect of one of the two taking a seat on the Neapolitan bench seems to have totally vanished into thin air, given that another coach has ended up in the sights of president Aurelio De Laurentiis, determined to deliver the blow of the year. The Italian boss wants this great name at all costs, and is even ready to put a three-year contract on the table.

Some rumors that have been confirmed lately have indicated Napoli’s resounding interest in the coach of the Belgian national team Domenico Tedesco. The coach, just 38 years old, has long demonstrated that he is predestined, and during his career he has already managed several clubs, including Leipzig.
Now, however, the coach born in Calabria has the great chance of leading Belgium to the next European Championships, but despite having a contract until 2026, it cannot be ruled out that at the end of the competition he will answer some other calls presentlike that of the Neapolitans.

So Tedesco’s it is only the latest name to emerge in the Neapolitan house for the future of the benchand which at the moment is also overshadowing Antonio Conte and Stefano Pioli.
