Bologna, 27 March 2024 – “I never thought that Gabriella would leave before me. Dear Lorenzo, your mother will always be ALIVE in our most beautiful memories. I hug you tightly… I’m close to you… And I love you”. They are the words of Vasco Rossi to say goodbye to his Gabry.

Maria Gabriella Sturani, ex-girlfriend of the rockershe died at 57 and was there mother of Lorenzo, son that Rossi recognized only fourteen years later. The woman was originally from Masi Torello in the province of Ferrara. “I was 13 years old when I met Vasco – she said in a 2013 interview on Vanity Fair – and I was with my cousin in a club in Rimini with a group of friends: one of them knew Rossi. But it was the summer of 1980”.
Then they met again at July 1983, they were together for two years, until the summer of ’85. Then the story the woman had told ended when she became pregnant, for Vasco “it wasn’t the right time to become a father”.
Vasco and Gabriella had a good relationship: “Rossi is number one. There has always been and always will be, He is the father of my son.” Lorenzo Rossison of Vasco and Gabriella, lives in Bologna with the wife Carlotta Quaranta which has already given him the joy of becoming the father of Lavinia and Lucrezia.
