From participations to Forumto his work as a radio speaker for Rtl 102.5 e Radio Zeta, Donnamaria He is also successful through his blog where he discusses current affairs and social issues, focusing in particular on Rome, his city.

Born in the capital on January 16, 1994 and raised there, after the turbulent years of high school he moved to Milan, where he graduated in Law. It was during this period that his ability to address social issues brought him to the attention of TV and paved the way for him to participate in the program Barbara Palombelli. Always ready to get involved, Edoardo Donnamaria he makes himself known to the public also thanks to his participation in the Big Brother VIP. The meeting in the House with Antonella Fiordelisithen, allowed him to find love: a story that made fans dream who still follow the story closely today, hoping for a flashback after the abrupt separation last year.

After embarking on a musical career under his stage name Drojette, Edward Donnamaria is ready to surprise his audience with his new single, Careless That “tells the end of a love story, which fades away at a time when you are too distracted to fully understand the value of what you have lost. After having removed the traces of a past that has now vanished, you find yourself faced with the need to start over, finding the strength to get up again but at the same time giving yourself the time necessary to do so”.

Your single “Sbadato” has just been released. How did it come about and what experiences do you draw inspiration from?
Careless it tells the story of the end of a young love, I wrote it years ago during a difficult time that made me suffer a lot. I had just broken up with a girl to whom I thought I was less attached than I actually was, but when I realized it, it was too late and I was too careless”.

Compared to your previous productions, “Sbadato” shows a more urban and a little less singer-songwriter sound. A deliberate or instinctive choice?
“I can tell you that, even if it may not seem like it, as a lyricist I come from the world of hip hop and, having written this song six years ago now, it is naturally more linked to that world and less to that of pop in general” .

Radio speaker and television personality and musician. In which of these “clothes” do you feel most comfortable?
“Music is currently my greatest passion, even if from an artistic point of view I am a child who is still having his first experiences. TV is my first work love which allowed me to meet the woman of my life: the radio, which for me links work and passion with an indissoluble thread”.

What inspires you most to make your music?
“When I write I always start from personal experiences but then I like to season them with elements of fantasy, even a little scenographic, which allow me to enrich my songs and make them more complete”.

What is “Drojette” for Edoardo Donnamaria? An alter ego or a mirror?
“Drojette for me is the careless boy who wore his hat backwards, it is that part of me that allows me to live the most difficult moments of my life, often recounting them with lightness. When I am Drojette I can tell what I want without fear of being judged”.

As a former Big Brother contestant, what is your current opinion of Italian reality shows?
“There are some reality shows that I really like, others I owe almost everything to. Some, however, I find that over time they have worsened, reflecting the cultural decline not only of our country but of the whole world… just look at the level of global political debate”.

Have you ever thought about making your own TV show? Maybe bringing the radio experience to TV?
“I think hosting a TV show that features music would be an important milestone in my career. It could be the answer to the question: what do you want to do when you grow up?”

Does gossip about you bother you? Or do you experience it as a normality linked to being a public figure?
“Royal gossip has never bothered me, I understand and I am grateful for the interest that revolves around my public persona (which is not really me). What I hate is the need to click on the part of people who consciously invent anything just to make two views, but if you have a critical eye you will have noticed that we are working on it.”
