The return Monteloud Rock Fest: an unmissable event in Montepiano
Montepiano, 27 July 2024 – Il Monteloud Rock Fest returns, after last year’s great success, for its second edition, promising an unforgettable day of rock music. The festival will be held again in the evocative setting of Poggetto Parka Montepiano (PO) and will feature four extraordinary new bands.
EVENT INFORMATION
Il Monteloud Rock Fest 2024 it is a mini rock music festival where, in addition to concerts, it is possible to eat, drink and shop. It will be held on July 27th Montepiano (PO)in a location surrounded by nature: the Poggetto Park.
The gates will open at 6.00 pm and the first concert is scheduled for 7.00 pm.
The food offer will include a fresh initial aperitif, to welcome the participants, followed by a variety of street food options suitable to satisfy all tastes, and lots of good beer, to refresh yourself throughout the day.
There will be a space used for stalls of various kinds, where guests can browse through local crafts, band merchandise, records and much more, in a lively and engaging atmosphere.
During the day, four bands will alternate on stage and after the concerts the party will continue with a rock DJ set, to dance and entertain the audience until late at night.
The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Vernio and is organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Montepianodemonstrating the strong bond with the territory and the desire to promote culture and rock music in the local community. The festival is free and with free admission, to offer everyone the opportunity to participate in this extraordinary day of music, fun and inclusion.
THE BAND
VANEXA
The headliners of this edition will be the legendary Vanexa, one of the first and most influential Italian heavy metal bands. Active since the ’80s, Vanexa are considered the authors of the first Italian heavy metal album. With numerous albums under their belt and a solid fan base, Vanexa promise to close out the night with a breathtaking show.
DRUNKEN ROLLERS
The Drunken Rollers will bring their unique blend of rock and blues to the stage, with overwhelming riffs and catchy melodies. The band, on the eve of the release of their second album, is now a consolidated reality of the Tuscan rock scene and we are sure that they will give us an engaging and passionate concert.
BURNING BLOOD
Burning Blood are a young band with strong hard rock and heavy metal influences. Their performances are intense and technically very good despite their young age. On stage they release a lot of energy and their attitude as true rockers is evident, which generates a truly remarkable impact.
PETZ ARE COOL
Petz Are Cool will open the festival with their fresh, innovative and extremely fun sound. They offer a new repertoire of decidedly funk inspiration and are supported by a powerful horn section. They are a creative and original band, their melodies are catchy and their rhythms are overwhelming; they will start the day with great energy.
