VAST. Tuesday 9 July 2024 the “Eclipse” with their show entirely dedicated to the history of Pink Floyd.
The concert will take place in the enchanting setting of Avalos Gardens of Vasto starting at 9.00 pm. The evening is organized by the Association AVIAlzheimer Vasto Italy in collaboration with l‘Department of Culture of the Municipality of Vasto and the Rotary Club of Vasto.
Before the show there will be introductory greetings from the Avi Association Board of Directors with the President Lawyer Maria Molinothe Doctor Claudia Sacchethistoric director of the Geriatrics department of the San Pio Hospital in Vasto, and various psychotherapists expert in art therapy and theater therapy who work periodically within the Caffè Alzheimer’s projects which consist of fortnightly afternoons dedicated to workshops and moments of leisure where the professionals interact with Alzheimer’s patients and their families.
The AVI every year it organizes training courses for caregivers and assistants of patients, conferences to raise awareness on dementia issues, workshops and moments of conviviality at the Social Services headquarters of the Municipality of Vasto. The formation of Eclipse today it has 8 members: Francesco Marchesani (vocals), Luigi Mariotti (guitars), Alessandro Mariotti (bass), Giovanni Tabilio (keyboards), Emanuele Perrina (drums), Gianpiero Barbati (sax) Dora Minicucci (backing vocals), Raffaela Pierro (backing vocals ).
The cost of the ticket is €10.00 and the proceeds will be donated to the Avi Association for the purchase of vouchers that can be spent at a Day Center to rest and oxygenate family members affected by the overall management of the disease, giving them the opportunity to restore their strength and spirit.
