Summer of great international events at Phenomenon which launches itself into new challenges, starting with the metal sound. Double concert tonight with the American bands Bio Hazard and Feat Factory. On July 1st it will be the turn of the Australians Thy Art is Murder. In August the club will host the Australian Tommy Emmanuel, one of the best interpreters of the acoustic guitar in the world.
Already tonight in case of good weather the live will be held under the stars. Tickets at 35 euros plus presale, also on Vivaticket. Doors open at 7.30pm. Fear Factory will perform first (at 8.30pm), followed by Biohazard (10.15pm). Precisely the double international appointment represents a novelty for Marco Cerutti’s venue: «We have a very specific strategy: in the summer, when in Italy the clubs often close, we can hold the concerts under the stars and thus intercept the international tours, almost always on a single date.”
Hence the choice of two metal groups that were very popular especially in the 90s: «A genre that we had already proposed in the past with a passionate audience that also stayed for dinner. But there will be other appointments later. We already have two blues rock dates between November and February. Our flexibility allows us to be attractive even for foreign artists.”
From legends to new additions
Tonight’s show will be opened by the Californians Fear Factory, a Los Angeles band that has been active since 1989. Their singer is the Roman Milo Silvestro who took over from the legendary Burton Christopher Bell about a year ago. The only remaining member of the original lineup is guitarist Dino Cazares. The second part will be with Biohazard, just returned from the tour in Copenhagen. They have been on the scene for 37 years thanks to their ability to mix metal, hardcore punk and hip hop and lyrics that tell of life in the slums of New York. The historic group reunited after a few years in October 2022.
