Fedez sues Jacobs, who now risks being prosecuted for defamation

Another court case for Fedezwho this time took the initiative and dragged it to court Marcell Jacobs For defamation. The athlete, Olympic champion in the 100 meters in Tokyo, years ago decided to rely on the rapper and his talent agency to be valorised (economically) and find new sponsors. Given Fedez’s fame, he believed he could reach the turning point, especially since when he won the Olympics he was under the tutelage of Dream of Ordinary Madness Entertainment srl. Yet, something seems to have gone wrong in that contract and it was Jacobs himself who complained about the management of Fedez and his staff.

In 2018 I entrusted myself to Fedez’s company, I expected that being close to him would give visibility but they never developed a project there“, declared the athlete in the columns of The print last year, underlining: “I won in Tokyo and they wrote to me 24 hours later. They were at the seaside and he didn’t give a damn“. These words of the sprinter were the subject of the lawsuit for aggravated defamation (by the press) by Annamaria Berrinzaghi, mother of Fedez and administrator of the company, by Dream of Ordinary Madness Entertainment srl itself and also by Fedez.

Jacobs was convinced that he could turn his professional path by relying on Fedez, of doing something like what, years later, he is doing Jannik Sinner. Advertising, contracts, great visibility in the media: but the destiny for the hundred-metre runner was very different and despite being the reigning Olympic champion none of this has ever happened. After Tokyo, relations between the parties deteriorated completely: Jacobs terminated the contract with Doom Entertainment, which was the subject of a civil lawsuit by the company, then he made those vitriolic statements and it led to the criminal case.

And while we wonder what happened to Fedez, who disappeared from social media for days and about whom rumors of a new illness and hospitalization are circulating, denied by the staff, the Brescia prosecutor’s office has filed the notice of conclusion of the investigations. According to Corriere della Sera the next step should be to request indictment for the sprinter.

A warning that could also arrive close to the athlete’s departure for Paris, where he will try to defend his Olympic title in the 100 meters. This is not the time for distractions for Jacobs, so there probably won’t be any statements from him on the case, at least for now.
