Aiello and the new single Talete: “I sing about fleeting love, but that for Inter is eternal”

A soundtrack of summer, when you want to meet and fall in love. A season that can be the stage for love stories that last just that period, then fade away at the gates of autumn. This is “Talete”, the new single by Antonio Aiello. The Calabrian singer returns a year after his last album.

“The lyrics are autobiographical, they talk about my last three years: the cliché that in the summer I live stories that have an immediate expiration. With this song I would like to dispel this taboo. Summer love, even though it seems like such an obvious and banal, it’s a reality. The philosopher Thales reasoned on parallel lines: I liked the idea of thinking of love as the only force capable of bringing together two things that otherwise would never meet.”

In the video clip you also become a dancer. What experience was it?

“Brave without a shadow of a doubt: I’m not a guy who can actually boast of being so uninhibited in public. This piece seemed perfect to me because it opens a new cycle for me, I wanted to have fun lightly. I’m happy and proud of the result “.

You are a big Inter fan.

“It’s a faith that has been passed down in my family for generations”

How happy were you for the second star?

“Anyway, it was beautiful. It wasn’t a surprise, but an emotion built over the year. No suffering along the way.”

Who were your two Scudetto men for you?

“Definitely Lautaro, it’s a certainty. Arnautovic was also very strong. I chose attack because it’s also a life philosophy of mine: I like to be proactive just like a striker.”

Which of your songs would you dedicate to Simone Inzaghi?

“I would tell you ‘Paradise’ because every time he leads Inter to success I feel like I’m in heaven. Inzaghi is a great leader and also captain of a team that feels like a family in every way.”

In “Thales” a verse mentions: “a beautiful story to forget”. Was there a good story for you to forget at Inter?

“In reality none. The background of some passages is not really known. Like Lukaku: I felt bad, it was a cold shower, but only the protagonists know the truth of some stories.”

You did Sanremo with Ibrahimovic. Would you have preferred if there had been a black and blue to introduce you?

“Ibra was nice, but yes I would have preferred a black and blue. I would say Zanetti or Ronaldo. They are the two names that come to mind when I think of Inter.”

And if Cosenza, the team from your city, went to Serie A: who would you support?

“I honestly wish I could live through this crisis. I have a deep and authentic passion for Inter, but the red and blue represents the color of my city. In a direct clash, I would support Cosenza.”
