Temperatures of up to 41°C are on the way, let’s see which areas of Italy will be the hottest [Mappa]

It will be hot in the next few days. Indeed, in some of our regions the mercury columns could rise to scorching peaks, close to 40/41°C!

The reason is to be found in the expansion of the Mediterranean area ofAfrican anticyclone Scipio which will give a first taste of summer to practically the entire country.
These signs of strong warming come after a month of May and a beginning of June characterized by rather uncertain meteorological conditions, with persistent atmospheric instability which mainly affected the North and part of the Centre. In these areas the temperatures also assumed a rather fluctuating behavior.

In short, now things will undergo a real metamorphosis thanks to a clear improvement in weather conditions throughout Italy, which will cause a notable increase in temperatures which they will reach already in Thursday 6th and Friday 7th June fully summer values, initially oscillating between 29 and 30°Cwith even higher peaks in the South.

The heat wave is set to intensify over the weekendwith temperatures reaching i 32/33°C over most of the central-northern regions, reaching peaks of 37/38°C in the South and on the two largest islands.

Maximum attention then at the beginning of the course next week when Italy will divide in two from a weather-climatic point of view. In the North and in part of the Centre, high pressure will lose energy, favoring greater instability and a consequent drop in temperatures. In the South, however, Scipio will take on further power, bringing the mercury columns even higher, until they reach peaks of 40/41°C in the innermost areas of Sardinia And Sicily.
