VAST. Another year has passed and punctually the children of the Scuola Civica Musicale of Vasto reap the results of their commitment and dedication to the study of music. It particularly stood out at the Vinciguerra national competition held from 12 to 14 May in LancianoSimone Bufano (15 years old) first prize in the piano section. He convinced the jury with music by Rachmaninov and Debussy and received a special mention and an invitation to perform at the final concert at the Fenaroli theater in Lanciano.
The small one Marta Lucarelli, barely first grade, he took on his first competition, again in the piano section, winning second prize.
Luigi Bautto (14 years old) participated in the Caramanico International Competition held this weekend, obtaining flattering successes in the piano category, winning first prize with 98/100 playing music by Bellafronte and Chopin, and in the acoustic and electric guitar category, obtaining second prize with 93 /100.
The boys were followed in their musical journey by maestro Enrica Russo for the piano and by maestro Stefano Barbati for the acoustic and electric guitar.
Congratulations to these young students from the Board of Directors of the Cultural Center – Città del Vasto, the Artistic Director and the Councilor for Culture.
