The record producer and presenter, in a long interview with Corriere della Sera, spoke about the talents he discovered and the relationships he maintained with them. He was clear about the Lombard singer: “I prefer to talk about Mauro Repetto, he wrote the exaggerated lyrics of 883, the other one sang them”

He doesn’t beat around the bush too much and gets straight to the point. Claudio Cecchetto, record producer, disc jockey and presenter, during the interview with Corriere della Sera he talked about some of the talents he has launched throughout his career and called Max Pezzali “the most ungrateful”. Among the various answers, he also mentioned a flirtation with Sabrina Salerno.

Max Pezzali

It was Claudio Cecchetto who discovered and brought success to Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto’s 883s. In 1991, in fact, the duo sent the talent scout an audition recorded on an audio cassette of the song Don’t beat me up and gets an interview. Cecchetto, after listening to them, makes them participate in the Castrocaro Festival with that song. From that moment their collaboration began which would lead them to publish many great successes. From what the record producer says in the interview with Corriere della Sera, the relationship between him and Max Pezzali would have deteriorated over time: “I prefer to talk about Mauro Repetto, he wrote the exaggerated lyrics of 883, the other sang them”. And there doesn’t seem to be peace in sight: “Gratitude for him is optional. Of all my friends he was the most ungrateful, in this at least he is number 1. I didn’t wage any war, I defended myself. Gratitude is a symptom of intelligence” explained Cecchetto.
