From 3.15pm until after midnight, more than 50 artists will take turns on the stage of the Circus Maximus
Everything is ready from Circus Maximus in Rome for the classic May Day concert. For the occasion, in view of the Jubilee, the great organizational machine led by Massimo Bonelli left San Giovanni in Laterano for the new location. After two days of testing which saw the over 50 artists in the cast committed to performing, from 3.15pm until after midnight, live on Rai3, streaming on RaiPlay and simulcast on RaiRadio2, the long musical marathon will be broadcast.
A continuous flow of music that, starting at 1.15pm it will be hosted by Big Mama streaming preview. The official start live on TV will begin at3.15pm with Ermal Meta and Noemi on stage. The baton will then pass to Rai information with the usual editions of the national and local news. From 8pm the line will return to the stage starting from the two singers, who this year take over the hosting instead of Amber Angiolini. As is logical, the line up most awaited by the numerous fans (who have already flocked to the venue since the early hours of the morning) is scheduled for the first evening. A Sanremo 2.0, as it has been defined by many insiders, contaminated by a strong presence of GenZ. Among the most anticipated names, just to name a few, we find: Mahmood, Geolier, Negramaro, Tananai, La Representative di Lista, Achille Lauro, Malika Ayane, Dargen D’Amico, Rose Villain, Ultimo, Morgan and Piero Pelù. Large space also dedicated to the backstage. A “metaverse” full of workers at work, which takes on even more importance since today we will be talking about this very topic. And with the slogan “Let’s listen to the future” it will be the voices of the new generation that will tell their story and express the needs of tomorrow which, between internships and low wages, is certainly not rosy.
THE LIVE
1.30pm – Big Mama arrived on stage to greet the audience present. The live broadcast on Rai Play should start shortly (scheduled, we remind you, for 1.15pm).
1.25pm – For the moment the incessant rain has stopped wetting the capital. In the meantime the live broadcast of the opening on Rai Play has not yet started (many fans are complaining about it on social media) . Big Mama will shortly welcome the public from the stage, interspersing the presentations of the various artists until the start of the live television broadcast scheduled for 3.15pm.
