“Tritonus Nights” is coming, the triple live deluxe with colored vinyls

THE CANDLEMASS they will publish the 31 May 2024 on Peaceville Records/Audioglobe a special limited edition triple vinyl containing a combination of performances from the albums”Epicus Doomicus Metallicus” And “Nightfall” to the Södra Teatern Swedish in November 2021, with the perfect double evening event to celebrate 35 years of these two iconic titles.

With a lineup made up of Lars Johansson, Björkman Maps, Leif Edling, Janne Lindh And Johan Langquisti CANDLEMASS capture an enchanted audience with the interpretation of numerous classic doom songs such as ‘Solitude‘, ‘Demon’s Gate‘, ‘The Well of Souls‘ And ‘Bewitched‘, in addition to the inclusion of the song ‘Battlecry‘, prior to ‘Epicus…’, as a rare live gem. With professionally recorded and mixed sound and mastering work done by Patrick Engel at i Temple of Disharmony Studios,”Tritonus Nights” represents i CANDLEMASS at their best.

THE CANDLEMASS were formed by the bassist and author Leif Edling in Stockholm in the mid-1980s. With a healthy influence coming mainly from bands like the British heavy metal pioneers BLACK SABBATHi CANDLEMASS quickly established themselves for their epic brand of atmospheric doom metal, with undisputed classics of the genre such as 1986’s debut album “Epicus Doomicus Metallicus” and the subsequent 1987 work, “Nightfall“, which inspired subsequent generations.

‘Tritonus Nights‘ is presented in a limited edition on triple colored vinyl in a case and an additional booklet, with the D side of the double vinyl ‘Nightfall‘ containing a special engraved design.
