In addition to Italian students who have not, for various reasons, completed their studies until they have completed compulsory schooling (middle school three years in one and two years of high school two years in one), the CPIA offers literacy and learning courses of the Italian language for foreigners, basic computer courses and other professional paths that meet the needs of an adult population. Many students, especially foreigners, on this occasion had the opportunity to visit and better understand the value of monuments such as that of the Fallen, the Unknown Soldier and the statue of the Bisceglie partisan Vincenzo Calace, evidence of the determination of the Italian people to defend and promote the fundamental values of democracy.
The educational excursion then continued in the historic center, in Piazza S. Domenico, in the Romanesque cathedral, in the crypt below and in the adjacent diocesan museum, one of the largest and most interesting museums in Puglia which occupies the entire Bishop’s Palace.
The CPIA BAT (at the Battisti-Ferraris school via Pozzo Marrone n. 84) offers a dynamic and culturally enriching environment, confirming itself as a precious ally in promoting the personal and professional growth and development of adults.
