BOLOGNA (ITALPRESS) – From investments for energy requalification and the use of renewable energy, also associated with seismic improvement and adaptation works, up to interventions for the development of circular economy systems and processes and for the ecological transition of businesses.
These are the objectives of the investments that Emilia-Romagna companies will be able to finance with the first regional tender for the issue of 100 million euro basket bonds thanks to the guarantee made available by the Region amounting to 25 million. The notice was presented today at the Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna headquarters.
With an alternative credit access channel to the traditional banking channel, Viale Aldo Moro aims to support business investments in line with the objective and resources of the 2021-2027 ERDF regional program on the themes of sustainability, decarbonisation, biodiversity and resilience.
In detail, the operation is based on the memorandum of understanding signed between the Regional Council and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (Cdp) which has started a collaborative relationship to promote the issue of bonds by small and medium-sized businesses in Emilia-Romagna. Romagna. Furthermore, the guarantee issued by the Region will allow the development of a total credit volume equal to four times the fund made available, for a total of 100 million euros.
Bper Banca will help the issuing companies to structure their mini-bond, as arranger of the program, and, together with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, will act as investors, each subscribing 50% of the total issues.
