Even in his book, Alessandra Celentano she said she had always been very disciplined and precise, even going against her mother’s attempts to protect her, as a child, from the cold by making her wear a wool undershirt under her bodysuit:

“You couldn’t wear this wool undershirt, I wanted to be perfect. Therefore, as soon as I got to the dressing room I took it off and she, sometimes, when she looked at me through a small porthole, because we couldn’t attend the lesson, she realized this that I had done.”

Still very young, she moved away from her family to pursue her dream and, although far away, she always tried not to make her absence and her problems burden her family:

“I didn’t want to burden my family with my problems, neither with my parents nor with my sisters. I surrounded myself with a few friends to help me, but I always solve all my problems on my own, whatever their nature”

Amici 23, Alessandra Celentano’s touching memory of her mother: “I would do everything again for her, taking care of your parents is a duty”

The teacher of Friends she was then moved as she recounted her difficult and long illness motherwhich lasted a good ten years: with teary eyes she admits that she wasn’t there for her until the end and that, if she went back, she would do it all again, even more: “I stood by her, I would do it all again, even more”. In those ten years, as he also recounted in the book, Alessandra Celentano she stood by her mother, working at the same time. Suffering from Alzheimer’s, her mother has become a shadow of herself and her teacher has taken care of her together with her sister:

“She no longer knew who I was, but she recognized someone close to her. The day I called the ambulance and they took her away I thought I would never see her again. But I would do it all again, I would live the same way, I feel I have them shown love, I feel I sacrificed myself, not because I had to, but because I wanted to”

Moved, the teacher admitted that hearing her words again was very strong and reiterated that she would do even more for her, although she is aware that she and her sisters gave everything they could for their mother:

“I’m sorry when I hear of children who don’t take care of their parents, beyond any relationship, it’s a duty and we can’t escape certain duties”

Celentano he admits that he spoke with great frankness and honesty, one of his greatest qualities and precisely for these reasons he admits: “In 1000 years I would like to be remembered for my honesty and also for having done good and respect for the future of young people
