The FuoriGP also arrives in Imola. On the occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix starting today, May 17, at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Aurodromo. Two days of initiatives organized by the Municipality, starting with IF – Imola Faenza Tourism Company to welcome the fans, as well as allow the people of Imola to experience the city in a new way.
A dedicated city dressing will dress up Imola, furthermore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the historic center and the route from the station to the racetrack will be animated with initiatives and events, including exhibitions, car shows, food villages where you can taste the food and wine specialties of the area, DJ sets, together with entertainment promoted and organized by public establishments. The initiatives of the “Senna 30 years” program dedicated to the memory of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger will also continue.
Marco Panieri, mayor of Imola, underlined: “The FuoriGP is also coming to Imola and this year a very profitable synergy has been created between the Municipality, starting from Con.Ami with Terre & Motori, the partner organisations, the subsidiaries, the economic and commercial activities in the historic center and the city and the trade associations by increasing the proposals compared to 2022 and also last year. A vast panorama of initiatives, exhibitions, events, tastings, showrooms and experiences to be enjoyed in the city on the occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, a celebration that will also involve the historic centre, its squares and its streets, with the protagonism of premises, shops and commercial operators. All in the name of Made in Italy, of the Motor Valley and of a shared passion that will bring tens of thousands of fans and enthusiasts from all over the world. It will also mark a restart compared to the canceled 2023 edition, due to the terrible floods that hit our territories last year. We are ready to relaunch this event, stronger and more tenacious than before, as in the most authentic spirit of Romagna, also considering the thirty-year anniversary of the death of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger on the occasion of which ad hoc proposals are planned. I hope to also see the people of Imola experience these days, which will be challenging and complex, but certainly rewarding for the city and all of us. Traffic measures
On the occasion of the GP and the expected massive influx of spectators, traffic measures were necessary. From Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May the limitations on provincial roads will relate to the establishment of temporary one-way streets on the SP54 “Lughese” in the stretch between Imola and the A14 motorway.
Autostrade also communicates that the Imola station on the A14 Bologna-Taranto will be closed on Sunday 19 May.

Law enforcement stands – Traffic Police, Financial Police, Carabinieri will exhibit various vehicles of their corps. The Traffic Police will also be present with the BUS with an information route on Safe Driving, while the Guardia di Finanza will retrace 250 years of its history
