Galeotta was the episode of “Forehand and backhand” which aired last April 4th to (involuntarily) turn the spotlight even more on Baby Touché, the twenty-year-old trapper at the center of a dispute during the program broadcast on Rete 4. And the controversy has not died down even in the days since follow, with the singer overwhelmed by criticism. If you don’t know him, here is the young man’s story and career.

Who is Baby Touché: from the beginning to the fight on TV on Rete 4 to ‘Dritto e rovescio’

Baby Touché is the stage name of Amine Amagour, a rapper born in 2003 in Padua. Of Moroccan origins, since he was little he has had a strong passion for French rap. As time went by he decided to get involved personally in that musical sector. Among the songs that have been most successful there is certainly “Seba La Pute”. The piece – together with the artist – were noticed by Massimo Pericolo. Shortly afterwards their collaboration was born with the genesis of a remix designed specifically for the record market and the web. Before the new duo version, the original song reached over half a million views in a short time on YouTube. With the remix the verses of Massimo Pericolo and Barracano were added. In recent months, Baby Touché’s name had hit the news together with that of Simba La Rue. The newspapers had told and reported about the clashes between the two rappers and the colleague himself had been accused of kidnapping because he had uploaded a video to social media showing Baby Touché while he was in the car, with a bloody nose, while the other seemed to openly challenge him, shouting phrases like “Where is the gangstar that you are? Where is your security?”. Finally, at the beginning of April, Baby Touché was a guest on “Dritto e rovescio”, the Rete 4 program hosted by Paolo Del Debbio. In the episode aired, the trapper was invited to talk, together with everyone, about the topic of debate linked to youth micro-crime, a problem that is especially increasingly evident in large cities, such as Milan. The tones, however, became heated, with the trapper who became heated during a connection and was criticized by some guests in the studio, precisely for his answers and the tone used. Criticisms that the young man did not accept e tempers heated up several times. First he himself had decided to abandon the studio and then return and find himself once again raising his voice with those present. At that point, it was Del Debbio himself who invited him to leave the program and was subsequently forced to have security intervene to escort him out (since he didn’t seem willing to leave). The host then apologized to the audience: “I apologize for having invited people of this type. With this arrogance, this vulgar way of doing things, of calling a gentleman, Totò Riina, uncle. I sincerely apologize. I apologize to the public for this error. Excuse me”. The trapper, however, in response, hours later, once again provoked: “I am the first person who has been paid in that studio, I took more money than the host takes in a month, he didn’t invite me but the director of Mediaset. I can’t wait to be paid back to listen to frustrated people talk about me.” A return that is unlikely to happen again…
