Century Media Records welcomes the SONJA! The American heavy metal band was born in 2014 and captures the true spirit of rock n’roll with their own dark and sensual approach. Following their 2022 recording debut i SONJA today they present the new single “Discretion for the Generous“:
The singer and guitarist’s comment Melissa Moore regarding the new song and the signing with the German label:
“It’s a powerful experience to write, record, film a video in my home, and immediately release a song that is literally soundtracking my life.
Sonja is our Goddess and despises compromise. We exist for her extreme desire for her and as such we are always full. To create her art worthy of her name we tear our realities apart into the new planes of existence that it requires. We are grateful to those who join us on this journey, to serve and support her.
Fleeing to Portugal to write the lyrics, I tried to articulate some of the madness of Philadelphia. When I got home, we turned the volume all the way up.
