Interviewed by Francesca Fagnani a Beasts, Fedez has made known the reason that pushed him and his ex-wife Chiara Ferragni to stop publishing the faces of their children Leone and Vittoria on Instagram. As is known, for some time the children of the ex Ferragnez have appeared on social media only from behind. According to an initial reconstruction, it was a warning from the artist that pushed the digital entrepreneur to obscure the faces of children on social media. In reality, during the interview given to Fagnani, Fedez explained that he had only made a request to her ex-partner, which the latter accepted:

There are no warnings. I asked Chiara to avoid publishing the children at this time. For two full months I have almost never posted about my children, the only posts I have made are for birthday wishes. I can say that my children are not part of the narrative of my Instagram. In the past they were but in the meantime some things have changed. Initially there was a serene atmosphere, we talked about a beautiful journey. Today that journey took a different direction and I felt like not doing it.

Fedez: “I want to defend my children even from myself”

Fedez then made known the reasons that led him to this reflection: “I am also protecting my children from myself. Suppose I get pissed off and do something wrong, I intend to protect my children. It is obvious that at a time when there is such morbid attention to the subliminal messages we can send, I cannot allow what I publish to be misinterpreted if my children are involved”.

Fedez: “I’m a good father”

Fedez then claimed his role as a parent: “I believe I am a good father despite many people thinking otherwise, those who say I exploit my children. Many think that we are parents who have eaten up their children’s lives. I love my kids and I know I don’t, I know how I feel about them. I always give this example when I talk about love for my children. If my children were in this room and someone came in with a rifle, I would stand in front. If there was anyone else, I’d go somewhere else. What wish do I have for them? I believe that all parents are, willingly or not, their children’s traumas. I hope to be the lesser evil for them”.
