Summer Job, here are the contestants of the first Italian reality show for Netflix

Netflix recently released the trailer and images of Summer Job, the first original Italian reality show produced by Banijay Italia. The video streaming platform has therefore shown the 10 young competitors who will get involved: let’s get to know them better.

The first video images feature the 10 young contestants from Summer Job: Angelica, Gian Marco, Lavinia, Marina, Matthias, Melina, Pietro, Pit, Samuele and Sofia. Participants will be accompanied by Matilde Gioliwho will guide and support them in overcoming the many challenges they will face during their 8 episodes. The protagonists, aged between 18 and 23, are chosen to spend a dream vacation in a paradise villa in Mexicoon the Riviera Maya. Partying and having fun seem like the only thing they’ll have to think about. What they don’t know, however, is that in order to continue the adventure and experience the most incredible vacation of their lives, they will have to do something they have never done in their lives: to work.

After the first 24 hours in which they will be able to enjoy all the comforts made available, the young competitors of Summer Job they will discover that everything has a cost. To live an exotic dream adventure, the price to pay will be to face theirs first work experience. In order to raise the weekly budget and keep the fun going, they will have to work at some of the local businesses on the Riviera under the supervision and judgment of very demanding bosses.

Divided into groups of 2 or 3 people each, different participants will compete each week summer jobs (waiters, animal shelter assistants, maintenance and gardening workers…). Those who do not complete the work assigned to them by the employer or do not do it with commitment, will not receive a paycheck at the end of the week and will be risk of elimination.

Let’s get to know the better 10 contestants from Summer Job: Angelica he is 21 years old and is from Puglia. She likes fashion very much. She likes to stand out from other girls with her strong personality about her. Gian Marco he is 22 years old, is Sardinian and lives in Milan. He just graduated in Fashion Design. His friends call him “Il Baronetto” or “Briatore”. He defines himself as a lover of beauty. Lavinia she is 19 and lives alone in Milan. She finished high school but she took a break to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. Marina she is 20 years old and has Filipino ancestry. She’s been on her gap year for almost two years now. If you were to sum up her life in three words it would be these: aperitifs, travel and parties.

Matthias he is 18 years old and comes from Veneto. He graduated from a private college in London. He has never worked. Melina he is 21 years old, he is from Turin but has Brazilian origins. She is a very exuberant girl. Peter he’s 20 years old. Appearing for him is essential. In particular, he loves his ringlets. For him, working and wasting time on things he doesn’t like is “cruel”. Pit he is 21 years old. He loves football, whose competition he appreciates. You’ve never received a two of spades from a girl. Samuel he is 19 years old and comes from Cuneo. He is the son of the former volleyball player Luigi Mastrangelo. He defines himself as an athlete, but he is also a crypto trader. He doesn’t want to answer to anyone, he prefers to be his own boss. Sofia he is 20 years old and lives in Centocelle, a suburb of Rome. Her mother is Peruvian. She doesn’t like rules, she just wants to enjoy the holiday to the fullest.


The trailer released by Netflix also formalized the release date: Summer Job will debut on December 16 in all countries where the service is active.
