Between Phase 4 and Phase 5 the Marvel Cinematic Universe presented us with quite a few characters who were then (at least for the moment) abandoned to themselves: one of these is Namor, who made his debut with great fanfare as the villain of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and who, according to some rumors , could show up again in the near future.
The character whose version of Black Panther 2 has caused quite a stir among comic book fans could in fact be the protagonist of a project entirely dedicated to him: this, at least, is what the rumors leaked in these hours tell us, which however also cast some shadows on the possible return of Tenoch Huerta.
As you probably remember, Huerta was in fact accused of harassment by the saxophonist Marìa Elena Rìos, with whom the actor had a relationship some time ago: the star of Namor she promptly defended herself by firmly denying that she had held the attitudes denounced by Rìos, but following this affair she still abandoned a Netflix film in which she was supposed to be the protagonist.
The situation is therefore inevitably complicated, especially following the previous Jonathan Majors (who, however, unlike Huerta, was convicted in court): we will see if the Studios actually decide to focus on Namor and if, in this case, they should opt for a sensational recast.
